Title/Opening Credits: The title an opening credits we in a vintage/dark style. This is because The Wrong Trousers is meant to be a ‘dark-ish’ children’s comedy.

Story/Plot/Narrative: The story of The Wrong Trousers begins when Wallace realizes him and Gromit are running low on money. Then, Gromit’s place gets taken over by a penguin. This penguin then leads a Jewel heist with pants that control Wallace’s legs. The plot is that as the penguin takes over Gromits spot. This then leads to the penguin controlling Wallace with robot pants. The plot ends when they turn in the penguin and get the reward money so they don’t have to get a roommate. The narrative of the Wrong Trousers is that they get a roommate. Though the roommate seemed nice, he overthrew Gromit.  A key moment is when the penguin made Wallce commits a diamond heist while he was asleep.

Motif: A motif in The Wrong Trousers is the robot pants Wallace made, and the penguin replacing Gromit in his tasks. Also, the lighting that had the penguin in the shot tended to be dark.

Characterization: The central characters are the penguin, Wallace, and Gromit. Minor characters are police. I identified dislike wit the penguin, and anxiety with Wallace and Gromit.

Scene and sets: The film is a computer, because It is animated. The set in the movie gives you suburbia near the city. The story creates a darker view of the city.
