Yearbook woes

The Story
Our story was about a boy and girl on a date who look at their high school yearbooks. The girl has all of hers, but the boy doesn't have his senior yearbook. The girl then breaks up with him and walks away.

The idea for the story came from when we were brainstorming in class, and thought that it would be a funny story idea.

Kaylee and I were both responsible for 50% of coming up with the concept of the story.

The protagonist in our story is the boy.

The antagonist in our story is the girl.

The type of conflict in our story is an interactional conflict.

The climax of our story was when the girl leaves the boy.

The story resolves itself as the boy ends up sad when the girl leaves.

The resolution is tragic, as the boy leaves the girl.

The exposition of our story is that the girl finds out the boy doesn't have a yearbook, and then talks about how she would never date him and leaves.

The Project
Our final edit was 38 seconds long.

There were (I think) 22 slides.

The most time consuming aspect was drawing the slides.

We used Photoshop to create our slides.

I would come up with the ideas and Kaylee would draw them.

We wrote dialogue and showed through actions and facial expressions.

Kaylee and I both created the dialogue because we would discuss our ideas.

I constructed the movie in iMovie.

The title of the song is: Unknown, thunderclap, and unknown.

Band: On imovie.

The song hasn't been featured in anything.

The song wasn't suggested to us.

It was chosen for our project because it felt like it fit well and helped convey emotion.

No sound effects were created.

2 things I would do differently if faced with a similar challenge is time the movie better and find better sound effects and musical score.

The Partnership
My partner on the Yearbook Woe project was Kaylee Misiti

My responsibilities on the project were to edit the iMovie and put together the slides.

I felt most in sync with my partner was when we were picking the music together.

I felt least in sync with my partner when she was drawing the first slide.

I have some experience with iMovie.

Since Kaylee and I have the same sense of humor and had the same idea of what we wanted to do for the project, it worked out very well.
